Partners with Palantir to Deliver Sovereign AI Stack to Customers

Nebius Group N.V. announced a strategic partnership with Palantir Technologies Inc. on September 8, 2026, to provide Nebius's AI-native compute infrastructure and cloud platform to Palantir's commercial customers. Palantir has designated Nebius as its preferred sovereign AI infrastructure partner. This means that Nebius compute and inference endpoints will be integrated within the Palantir enterprise perimeter for eligible customers, giving them direct control over their compute, data, and models.

The partnership is built on the shared belief that open models combined with looped customer data lead to stronger domain intelligence and improved security. The two companies will also collaborate to accelerate the deployment of new compute capacity. This includes using modular data center deployments at locations where power is already available, to serve Palantir's customers more efficiently.

Both Alex Karp, co-founder and CEO of Palantir, and Arkady Volozh, founder and CEO of Nebius, emphasized the importance of organizations maintaining control over their AI models and data. Palantir's Sovereign AI Operating System is designed to allow organizations to train models on their proprietary data while retaining control. This partnership extends that capability to commercial organizations that have not previously had a sovereign option for running their models on trusted infrastructure.

Palantir chose Nebius because its infrastructure was purpose-built for AI, rather than being adapted from general-purpose computing. This allows for direct integration with Palantir's Sovereign AI Operating System. Eligible Palantir customers will be able to deploy open models on Nebius infrastructure and continually adapt them using their own data, which the companies believe will enable AI that outperforms general-purpose closed models for specific use cases.
