Secures initial contract for 100 tactical ISR UAS systems with Canadian Armed Forces

Draganfly Inc. has announced a five-year contract with the Government of Canada to supply Low-Cost Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). The initial contract includes a firm commitment for 100 of these UAS systems.

Beyond the initial commitment, the agreement provides the Government of Canada with the option to order up to an additional 4,900 UAS systems at its sole discretion. If all these options are exercised, the total number of UAS systems supplied could reach 5,000.

The contractual option for these additional 4,900 UAS systems carries an approximate aggregate value of C$24.25 million, if fully exercised. Any exercise of these options would require a written contract authorization or amendment. Draganfly will also provide associated ground control stations, payloads, data links, support equipment, documentation, spare parts, and training for CAF personnel. The contract also provides for options for additional training beyond the initial cadre.

This contract follows Draganfly's acceptance as a qualified supplier in all five categories of Canada’s Defence Drone Initiative (DDI) Marketplace. This award represents a subsequent procurement under the initiative, aiming to strengthen Canada’s domestic defence and uncrewed systems ecosystem.
